Eastbourne Speakers Club is a not for profit organisation. It is the
place for you to develop your skills, increase your ability and meet friendly
people. There is a structure to each evening, established because it’s
seen to work in all our clubs, which supports you to grow in confidence
and enrich your knowledge and understanding of the whole communication
process. You will have the opportunity to present in a number of roles
to enhance your speaking ability.
The results are amazing. Growth is achieved from practice and receiving
feedback in a relaxed and friendly environment. Eastbourne Speakers Club
is a not for profit organisation, part of the global organisation, Toastmasters
International, which has 12,000 clubs in 92 countries. With over 200 clubs
and more than 6,000 members in the UK and the Replublic of Ireland, you
are part of a network of people who enjoy supporting each other to improve
their presentation skills.
It is our aim to give everyone an opportunity to speak at every meeting
- provided they want to - whatever they say will be listened to very carefully
and possible improvements will be suggested.
